Safari Blue is the best day out Zanzibar has to offer, a full day trip of fun, relaxing, sun bathing, swimming, snorkelling and full of excitements. Starts at Fumba sailing to Menai Bay where the adventure begins. There is also a chance of 85% of seeing dolphins on the way to Menai Bay and also a beautiful sandbank and safe for swimming. It's located in Fumba fishing Village, just 30 minutes drive from Stone Town, Fumba Village is situated in southwest corner of the island and is an ideal point to explore Menai Bay. Officially designated a conservative area in 1998

Clients arrive at Fumba at 09:30 where there will be an introduction and excursion briefing, along with a life jacket and safety demo. Then clients boards the dhow and sail to the Kwale sandbank for snorkelling. Around 13:30 we board the dhow and sail to Kwale Island for the seafood buffet.

After relaxing on the Kwale island, we then sail back to Fumba by traditional lanteen sail with sundowners drinks. But that's not all in this strip, it also include swim in the mangrove lagoon and to watch the dolphins (NOT SWIM WITH THE DOLPHINS).

This day trip ends at 17:30 and it's one trip that you wont stop talking about.

Jozani Forest

Jozani Forest is the only remaining natural forest of Unguja and home of the rare Red Colombus Monkeys that can be found in Zanzibar "Unguja". These monkeys are full of character and roam freely. A walk through this impressive floral and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer.

Jozani forest lies to some 35km (40 to 45 minutes drive from Stone Town) South East of Zanzibar town with an area of about 1000 hectares. The forest is very important socially, economically and scientifically. It is the only place in Zanzibar which holds the highest population of Res Colombus monkeys.

The Red Colombus are rare subspecies in the world.
They can be viewed at close quarter with the help of our guide and are excellent subject for keen photographer.

Jozani is not all about Red Colombus. It also offers you to walk in the forest and explore different type of trees and walk in the mangrove lagoon.

A day out in the Jozani Forest reserve is no doubt a well worth while and rewarding an unforgettable experince.

Prison Island Boat Trip and Sandbank

Prison Island is the home of Giant Tortoise and also a former prison for slave and quarantine station for Zanzibar. Nowadays the island gives you a chance to escape for peace and quite. We give our clients an opportunity to go around the island.

A full day visit including Sandbank, Snorkelling, Lunch and Drinks.
Starts at Dr. Livingstone beach in Stone Town to the sandbank near by where you can discover the underwater life filled with beautiful red and white corals with plenty of bright fishes swimming around.
When you're done with snorkelling a luxury lunch will be served for you on the golden sandbank. After lunch you board the boat to prison island to see the Giant Tortoise, walk around the island and slowly sail back to the Stone Town. This trip is full of adventure and excitement for everyone.

Also known as Changuu island earned its name back in 1893 when jail was constructed for detention of refactory slaves, but today it is a place where you can visit for peace of mind.

For a short day visit, you will have the option of snorkelling and will be taken straight to Prison island to see the tortoise and spend time on the beach, sunbathing, swimming or snorkelling, then sail back to Dr. Livingstone beach.

The town has an almost ancient feel about it completely laid back lifestyle and it's fusion of "sights and smell" that are unique to East Africa sea side town.

Your Zanzibar visit cannot be complete without visiting Stone Town. This unique 3 hour tour takes you to visit all the interesting places in the Stone Town, such as House of Wonders, Former slave market and the excitement walk in the narrow streets where you will come across a lot of fascinating Zanzibar doors, market bazaar, antiques, spices (which were boughten to Zanzibar by the Sultans of Oman) and gift shops.
